Philadelphia’s iconic emcee, record producer and songwriter Lil Uzi Vert, born Symere Bysil Woods, has teased their fourth rap album “Luv Is Rage 3”. Named after Uzi Vert’s debut studio album “Luv Is Rage 2”, the rapper has teased the project amidst just dropping their highly anticipated album “Pink Tape” after nearly three years last week.
As “Pink Tape” nears its first week, Uzi has insisted their fans push the album “2 number one” and he “will drop the album that you’re really looking for”. While the “At The Gates” emcee is yet to reveal the name of the forthcoming album, they dropped a very obvious hint on his Instagram: updating their account with “Luv Is Rage 3”.

Notably, “Pink Tape” is well on its way to being the first rap album to top the Billboard Top 200 chart this year. As per hotnewhiphop.com, Uzi’s last album “Eternal Atake” moved an unprecedented 288K album units within the first week of its release. Their latest LP has the potential to surpass even that number.
Whether Uzi plans to drop “Luv Is Rage 3” this week remains to be seen. However, with the announcement, fans have begun to anticipate a Playboi Carti feature on the upcoming album. Even at the time of dropping the “Pink Tape”, Vert “accidentally” uploaded a Carti verse on YouTube.
Even amidst high anticipation for “Pink Tape”, Uzi announced new music with Playboi Carti. Performing at Rolling Loud California at the time, Vert gave Carti their flowers and performed a slew of unreleased rap records – “He Ain’t Cra”, “Of course”, “City Girl Satan” and “Heartbeat”. “Shout out to Carti, we don’t talk hardly, but that’s where my heart be,” Uzi said amidst their massive live set.
