Punjabi rap superstar Shubh, born Shubhneet Singh, continues to raze through Billboard Canada Charts. His flagrant Hip-Hop record “King Shit” from the disruptive 4-track gangsta rap EP “Leo”, has debuted at the 13th spot on Billboard Canada Hot 100.
Released earlier this month, “King Shit” is the first rap record from the project to do so. The “Dior” rapper’s EP is further home to three massive Punjabi rap titles “Safety Off”, “Hood Anthem” and “You And Me”.
While Shubh faced scathing “politically motivated hatred” in India last year, his rap career continues to put major numbers on Billboard.
While “King Shit” has become his first rap record to chart on Billboard this week, Shubh’s debut album “Still Rollin” and its title track both razed through Billboard Canada Albums Chart and Billboard Hot 100 Chart respectively last summer.
Most recently, Shubh premiered the debut visual treatment from Leo. The gangsta rapper linked up with the iconic “Cheques” filmmaker Rubbal GTR for the “Safety Off” music video.
