Breakout Punjabi singer and emcee Sukha has debuted on the Billboard Hot 100 Chart with “8 Asle”. The young Toronto-bred rapper’s flagrant rap single from “Undisputed” EP, featuring guest features by legendary Punjabi singer Gurlez Akhtar and Chani Nattan, sits at the 55th spot on the Billboard Chart.
Notably, the “Switchin’ Lanes” rapper’s Billboard debut arrives amidst another Punjabi rap superstar Shubh razing through the Hot 100 with his fiery rap record “King Shit”.
As reported earlier, Shubh’s sprawling rap record debuted on Billboard Hot 100 Canada at the 13th spot.
For Sukha, the Billboard debut furthers the impact of his debut EP. As per the young Punjabi artist, the 6-track project was repeatedly taken down from streaming platforms amidst a “hate campaign” which involved “baseless copyright violations”.

Earlier this morning, Punjabi Hip-Hop superstar Karan Aujla and Indian rap royalty Divine released their debut collaborative single “100 Million”.
The massive Punjabi rap single is preceded by numerous rap heavy-hitters releasing new music including “Leo” EP by Shubh, “2024 Flow” by Sikander Kahlon and two flagrant gangsta rap records “Executioner” and “See My Hype” by Wazir Patar.
