England National Football Team Draws Training Inspiration From Sidhu Moose Wala

England Women’s National Football Sports team “Lionesses” have drawn training inspiration from legendary slain rapper Sidhu Moose Wala.

Recently, the pioneering sports team, spearheaded by numerous British women athletes including Leah Cathrine Williamson OBE, Chloe Kelly, Alessia Russo, Keria Walsh and more, shared an exclusive Behind-the-scenes of their training ahead of the FIFA Women’s World Cup.

While the women athletes gear up for pressing training, they were seen grooving to Sidhu Moose Wala’s third posthumous record “Mera Na”. Produced by U.K. rap’s influential superproducer Steel Banglez, the sprawling Punjabi record features a guest verse by Afrorap pioneer Burna Boy.

This is just one of the many ways through which the world continues to remember Moose Wala’s historic impact and his undeniable legacy. Earlier this year, a Brampton neighbourhood unveiled an affecting mural dedicated to Moose Wala.

The mural features Moosa next to legendary American rappers Tupac Shakur and The Notorious B.I.G. Shakur and Biggie were themselves victims of gun violence and succumbed to gun wounds during drive-by shootings in Los Angeles in the 90s.

It was preceded by an ardent fan laying down a forged Sidhu Moose Wala star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame in Los Angeles.

As reported earlier, the tributes to Moosa arrive amidst numerous Hip-Hop superstars mourning the loss of a true rap pioneer. Moose Wala, who was shot dead on 29, 2022, was honoured by global rap’s tall figures including Drake, Indian Hip-Hop royalty Divine, UK’s Burna BoyTion Wayne and MIST and Steel Banglez in the past four weeks.

Earlier this year, Birmingham’s legendary woman emcee Stefflon Don visited Moose Wala’s home in Mansa, Punjab on his birthday. During her brief stay, Don paid her respects to the “Moosetape” rapper’s father Balkaur Singh Sidhu and his mother Charan Kaur Singh.

Besides “Mera Na”, Moose Wala is slated to join Banglez for another posthumous verse. Reportedly, Steel Banglez will release “Attached” featuring Sidhu Moose Wala & U.K. Rap pioneer Fredo. Further, U.K.’s legendary woman emcee Stefflon Don is gearing up for “Dilemma” with the slain rapper.

Most recently, Moose Wala linked up with Indian Hip-Hop royalty Divine on “Chorni”.
