Legendary British woman rapper Stefflon Don, born Stephanie Victoria Allen, is presently visiting Sidhu Moose Wala’s home in Mansa, Punjab. The visit by the Birmingham, England-born emcee, who is recognised across the globe for her hard-hitting guest verse on Moosa’s “Invincible” Punjabi rap record on his third and final album “Moosetape”, arrives amidst numerous UK rap superstars remembering Moose Wala.
Just ahead of Don’s visit to Moose Wala’s home, which includes meeting the legendary late rapper’s father Balkaur Singh Sidhu and his mother Charan Kaur Singh, UK and Afrorap superstar Burna Boy paid his tribute to Sidhu Moose Wala during his historic live set at London stadium.
Burna, who appeared on Moose Wala’s third posthumous single “Mera Na” alongside Hip-Hop superproducer Steel Banglez, was further joined by influential British-Nigerian or emcees of African descent J Hus, Popcaan, the “Split Decision” rapper Dave and Stormzy.
In a set of videos surfacing online, Stefflon Don is seen swerving through the streets of the ‘Moosa village‘ along with Punjabi producer Sandy Joia. Reportedly, Don is slated to visit Moose Wala’s home later today.
On May 29 this year, the world mourned Sidhu Moose Wala’s first death anniversary. Ahead of that day, Tion Wayne and MIST remember the late Punjabi rap pioneer on hard-hitting UK rap records “Healing” and “Double Duppy” respectively.
Besides “Invisible”, Don has worked with Moose Wala on “47”. Produced by Steel Banglez, the incendiary rap record features a guest verse by MIST too.
Don’s affecting discography further includes “Boasty” alongside legendary UK emcee Wiley, Sean Paul and Idris Alba, “Hurtin’ Me” featuring French Montana, “Royalty” alongside another slain rapper XXXTentacion, VybZ Kartel, Ky-Mani Marley and the infectious Latin rap record “Bum Bum Tam Tam” alongside the “Voodoo” emcee J Balvin, Future and MC Fioti.
