Notably, this is the debut solo effort by Hit-Boy. His production discography spans far-reaching rap records including a four-LP collaborative effort with New York’s Hip-Hop royalty Nas. Further, Hit-Boy is known across the globe for leading an affecting production on N***** In Paris by Jay-Z and Kanye West, Racks In The Middle by Nipsey Hussle & Roddy Ricch and Clique by G.O.O.D Music labelmates Jay-Z, Kanye West & Big Sean. Earlier this year, Hit-Boy linked up with Migos’ former emcee Offset on “2 Live”.
In the lead-up to his debut LP, Hit-Boy teamed up with legendary Hip-Hop producer The Alchemist on “Slippin Into Darkness”. Clocking at just over four minutes, the far-reaching record was first released as a visual-only effort. Notably, the record has Hit-Boy and Alchemist rapping over each other production and finessing their mega-success in Hip-Hop music.
Hit-Boy takes it further and drops controversial verses against Metro Boomin, Hitmaka a.k.a. Yung Berg, DJ Mustard and Southside. Our publication earlier reported the effortless diss by Hit-Boy. Please read more about the provocative record here.
