In Honour of Sidhu Moose Wala, Fan Lays Down A Forged Star on ‘Hollywood Walk of Fame’ in L.A.

As Hip-Hop continues to mourn the death of one of its finest emcees and songwriters Sidhu Moose Wala, fans find a plethora of amusing ways to remember the slain rapper. Earlier today in Los Angeles, an ardent fan of Sidhu Moose Wala laid down a temporary star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.

Most recently, the legendary West Coast rap pioneer Tupac Shakur was posthumously honoured with the 2,758th star in Los Angeles. During a ‘star laying’ ceremony hosted by the iHeart Media Radio Personality Big Boy, the “Hollywood Walk of Fame” honour was received by Shakur’s sister Sekyiwa ‘Set’ Shakur on June 7.

First reported by Brit Asia TV, this is the second time that a forged Sidhu Moose Wala star has appeared on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. In June last year, the world was shocked to see Moose Wala’s star within days after his controversial death.

The controversial yet honest tribute to Moosa arrives amidst numerous Hip-Hop superstars mourning the loss of a rap pioneer. Moose Wala, who was shot dead on 29, 2022, was honoured by global rap’s tall figures including Drake, Indian Hip-Hop royalty Divine, UK’s Burna Boy, Tion Wayne and MIST in the past four weeks.

Most recently, Birmingham’s legendary woman emcee Stefflon Don visited Moose Wala’s home in Mansa, Punjab on his birthday. During her brief stay, Don paid her respects to the ‘Moosetape’ rapper’s father Balkaur Singh Sidhu and his mother Charan Kaur Singh.

More on the story as it unfolds. Rest in Peace, Shubhdeep Singh Sidhu.
