British emcee Raf-Saperra, born Adeel Sardar Khan, has finally revealed crucial details of his forthcoming EP “5 Deadly Venomz”. Set to release on March 8th, the project will arrive through Nas’ marquee record label Mass Appeal India and feature 5 tracks.
As per Saperra, “5 Deadly Venomz” will be an evocative concoction of underground East Coast Hip-Hop and Punjabi folk music.
First announced by Saperra in November last year, the EP will feature a guest verse by Harlem’s fierce East Coast emcee and Nas’ prodigy Dave East.
Following a partnership with Mass Appeal, Saperra & East have linked up numerous times including on East’s “Baywatch (Eastmix)” visual cut.
Further, East made a shocking appearance on Saperra’s New York set and the two artists previewed their forthcoming debut collaboration.
Reportedly, “5 Deadly Venomz” is produced by Saperra’s frequent collaborators Taj Aulakh & Bobby Kang. The release date announcement arrives alongside a brief trailer. You can watch it below.
While Saperra is yet to reveal the EP tracklist and artwork, the “Celebrity Killer” filmmaker and iconic “Ruff Around The Edges” singer has premiered its lead single “Ranjha”.
Traversing 7 tracks, the album is produced by a slew of superproducers including Boi-1Da, Wondagurl, Harry Fraud, Allen Ritter, Yeah Proof, Stunnah Beatz, Umair and more.
For Mass Appeal India, the announcement arrives within hours after the major label joined forces with Indian rap royalties Divine & Karan Aujla on the “Street Dreams” album.
