Los Angeles, California-based Punjabi emcee Tegi Pannu and Hip-Hop superproducer Money Musik have linked up for a new record. Titled “Meant to Be”, the single is slated to release this Friday and arrives within days after Pannu performed his debut live set in India.
The ‘Disturbing the Peace’ emcee took to Instagram to share the exclusive artwork for the record. You can check it out here.
Notably, this is the debut collaborative effort between Pannu and Money Musik. While the former is recognised across the globe as a promising voice in Punjabi Hip-Hop and R&B, Musik has established his stature as one of the biggest record producers of our times.
In February, the Toronto-based superproducer linked up with Nav and SoFaygo on “Double Faces” single. Besides the hard-hitting rap record, Musik has worked with Nav on the “No Debate” single feat. Young Thug, “Run It Up” feat. Pop Smoke, “OK” feat. Lil Durk, “Leaders” with Lil Uzi Vert, “Chirp” feat. Quavo and more.
Further, the record producer led the record production on the lead single “Code” from Offset’s upcoming album and ‘Us Vs. Them’ on Quavo & Takeoff’s last album “Only Built For Infinity Links” too. Atlanta’s legendary emcee Takeoff succumbed to injuries by fatal gun wounds just two weeks after the LP’s release.
Look out for “Meant to Be” by Tegi Pannu and Money Musik.
