Amidst the scathing rap feud between Drake and Kendrick Lamar, Future & Gunna have seemingly joined the infamous consortium of rappers dissing each other.
The Atlanta rap superstars, who have worked together on various top-tier records including “pushin’ P”, “Unicorn Purp”, “For A Nut” and “Street Sweeper”, spazzed over X, formerly Twitter, last night amidst high anticipation for Gunna’s forthcoming album “One of Wun”.
The “Type Shit” rapper, who recently joined forces with Kendrick Lamar on “Like That” and led to the infamous provocation against Drake, took to X to announce his 17th mixtape project and asserted that the YSL affiliate’s forthcoming LP “ain’t slapping” like his own.
“F— yo album sh– ain’t slappin’ like my mixtape,” Future wrote via X and confirmed his “Purple Reign” follow-up. The “We Still Don’t Trust You” emcee further teased a release date for the project which coincides with Gunna’s second full-length project since prison release.
