Breaking: Nas Announces 17th Rap Album ‘Magic 2’ Featuring 50 Cent, Produced By Hit-Boy

Brooklyn, New York’s legendary emcee Nas, real name Nasir Jones, has announced his 17th Hip-Hop album. Titled “Magic 2”, the LP will feature a guest verse by former G-Unit affiliate 50 Cent and is executive-produced by Nas’ frequent collaborator Hit-Boy.

Notably, “Magic 2” will be Nas’ 17th studio album and his 5th collaborative effort with Hit-Boy.

The producer, who has produced cult rap classics including “N—— in Paris” by Jay-Z & Kanye West, “Sicko Mode” by Travis Scott featuring Drake, “Racks In The Middle” by Nipsey Hussle featuring Roddy Ricch, has linked up with Nas for the “King’s Disease Trilogy” and “Magic” LP.

Earlier today, the “Illmatic” rapper revealed the “Magic 2” artwork. The LP is slated to release on July 21st, 2023.

The album is confirmed to have just one guest verse by 50 Cent. Nas is yet to reveal the exclusive “Magic 2” tracklist.

The “In Da Club” emcee’s verse arrives amidst high anticipation for his first Live Set in India in 16 years. The legendary rapper and media baron is slated to perform at the D.Y. Patil Stadium in Mumbai on November 25th.

“Magic 2” arrives just ahead of Hip-Hop 50. With a highly influential rap career which spans numerous rap records across 30 years, Nas is leading the worldwide celebration of rap music through his coveted record label and rap outlet Mass Appeal.

In June, Mass Appeal, which is reportedly spearheading the 50 years of Hip-Hop music across the globe, teamed up with Live Nation for a massive Hip-Hop 50 concert line-up.

Slated to go down at New York’s Yankee Stadium on August 11 this year, the concert will feature live sets by some of the biggest Hip-Hop artists of our times including Run DMC’s “Bottom of the Ninth…The Walk-Off” performance, Lil WayneSnoop Dogg, A$AP Ferg, EPMD, Ghostface Killah, Lupe Fiasco, Slick Rick and more.

Look out for ‘Magic 2’ by Nas on July 21st, 2023.
