Amidst high anticipation for the “Lunch Break” 30-track mixtape, Delhi’s Hip-Hop pioneers Calm and Encore ABJ, who helm the rap capital via the flagrant Hip-Hop act Seedhe Maut, have released the sophomore single from the project. Titled “Joint in the Booth”, the hard-hitting single is produced by Calm himself and arrives in lieu of the mixtape on 15th July 2023.
Seedhe Maut was initially slated to release the massive 30-track project on Encore ABJ’s birthday. However, the hard-hitting emcees revealed that they “don’t want to compromise on” how the project sounds and decided to drop the incendiary sophomore single instead.
Released via Azadi Records, which formerly represented and managed another marquee emcee and record producer from Delhi Prabhdeep and Kashmir’s ruthless emcee Ahmer Javed, the single is shared by Seedhe Maut alongside epic visuals directed by Kyabc. As reported earlier, Seedhe Maut’s frontmen Calm and Encore ABJ shut down Talkatora stadium and brought out Delhi’s young Hip-Hop pioneers Raga, Yungsta, AB 17 and numerous underground emcees including Revo Lekhak, the “Taakat” emcee Lil Bhavi, “Full Power” affiliate Frappe Ash, Rebel 7 and Bhaktaaa.

Further, Indian rap superstar Kr$na watched Seedhe Maut’s crucial rise in Indian rap music from backstage. It was the Kalamkaar affiliate’s first appearance in months.
For Seedhe Maut, the ‘Joint in the Booth’ single serves as the follow-up to their three-way collaborative effort with KSHMR and Indian superproducer Karan Kancha. Earlier this year, the three acts linked up on KSHMR’s sophomore single from the “Karam” LP.
Titled “Bhussi”, the single stirred far-reaching conversations about KSHMR’s debut Indian rap album which is slated to release later this year.
