A$ap Rocky Stars In Gucci’s Guilty Campaign With Julia Garner And Elliot Page

Harlem’s legendary emcee and A$ap Mob bossman A$ap Rocky – real name Rakim Athelaston Mayers – stars in Gucci’s latest Guilty Campaign. Making an immersive appearance alongside Julia Garner and Elliot Page, Rocky finds himself at the epicentre of “countless iterations of love” in the “Life Iz But A Dream” short film by Gucci.

Through Gucci Guilty, the luxurious Italian fashion label reinterprets the classic Gucci Guilty Pour Homme and Pour Femme fragrances, elevating both scents and packaging to higher levels of intensity.

“An ode to self-acceptance, friendship, and love in all its forms, Gucci Guilty is showcased in a new campaign featuring A$AP Rocky, Julia Garner and Elliot Page. Shot by Glen Luchford, the campaign invites each of us ‘home’ – a metaphorical place where we are free to accept who we are and let our authentic selves be seen,” Gucci says about its latest effort with the ‘Same Problems?’ emcee, Garner and Page.

Notably, this isn’t the first time that the “pretty mother f—–“ has linked up with Gucci. Last year, the ‘AWGE’ CEO linked up with Tyler, The Creator and Iggy Pop for Gucci’s Tailoring Campaign. “It was beautiful to see these three men together, seemingly different but very similar,” Gucci’s Creative Director Alessandro Michele said about the Golf Wang and AWGE CEOs collab at the time with Iggy Pop.

Rocky’s appearance for Gucci arrives amidst high anticipation for his fourth LP Don’t Be Dumb. Flacko first announced the ‘Testing’ follow-up in December last year. Performing at Amazon Music’s live concert series hosted by 2 Chainz, the legendary Harlem-based emcee pressed that his “Album finished.” and asked his critics to “Don’t Be Dumb.”

Besides confirming the LP himself, a slew of public appearances by Rocky provides subtle hints about his next studio album. The Long Live A$ap emcee linked up with Metro Boomin and The Weeknd at Rap Caviar’s ‘Heroes & Villain’ album launch party just ahead of his own LP announcement.

While Rocky has a guest verse on Boomin’s top-selling rap record, the rapper revealed that his upcoming LP is titled ‘Flacko Boomin’ – an eponymous for A$ap Rocky Metro Boomin – in an interview with GQ. Perhaps, marquee record production by Boomin on Rocky’s forthcoming LP can’t be ruled out at all.

Look out for A$ap Rocky’s fourth LP Don’t Be Dumb this year.
