Rap capital Delhi’s ruthless Hip-Hop act Seedhe Maut, helmed by perhaps the most influential choppa emcees in Indian rap music Calm & Encore ABJ, has finally premiered their long-awaited mixtape “Lunch Break”.
The 30-track mixtape, which traverses numerous Hip-Hop artists and record producers across an unprecedented runtime of over an hour, features guest verses by Indian Hip-Hop superstars Badshah, Kalamkaar’s rap royalty Kr$na, Rawal, the “Racks & Rounds” rapper Sikander Kahlon, Faris Shafi, Raga, Qaab, Yungsta, Rebel 7, Lil Bhavi, Ab 17, Bandzo3rd, & more.
Through the massive mixtape, Seedhe Maut pushes various underground rap emcees on the come-up while working with some of the most prolific veteran rappers of our times.
Notably, the mixtape LP is home to at least 18 records produced by Calm himself. Further, the record features Seedhe Maut’s recently released rap records “Joint in the Booth”, “Taakat”, “11K” & “W” as well.
Ahead of the mixtape’s release, Seedhe Maut premiered an evocative short film which captures their historic live set at Talkatora stadium. The hard-hitting Hip-Hop act, which draws influence from cult Hip-Hop collectives including Clipse, Run The Jewels, Mobb Deep & more, announced the “Lunch Break” mixtape at the time.

Notably, Seedhe Maut has further confirmed their fourth LP. The “Nayaab” emcees have revealed that the “Lunch Break” mixtape is in fact a “prelude” to their forthcoming LP “Kavi Kehna Chahte Hai”.
Seedhe Maut’s sprawling announcement arrives in line with Encore’s comments about a fourth LP in May.
As reported exclusively by Culture Haze at the time, Seedhe Maut will premiere their fourth album now that the “Lunch Break” mixtape has arrived.
In May, Encore asserted during an IG Live that a full-length LP is in the works and might release after the mixtape. Further, ABJ revealed that the highly anticipated mixtape would allow the young rappers to “test” and assess how far they could go with the LP.
At the time, ABJ provided some crucial insights into Seedhe Maut’s third full-length album “Nayaab” too. As per ABJ, the project was originally a trilogy and a far-reaching project which involved “absolute character developments, screenwriting and numerous sitdowns with Hip-Hop filmmakers” ahead of the LP.
Look out for Seedhe Maut’s fourth album “Kavi Kehna Chahte Hai” this year perhaps.
