The MVMNT’s influential emcee Yungsta, real name Yash Chandra, has released his long-awaited debut solo rap record “Meen”. Produced entirely by Delhi’s rap pioneer Sez On The Beat, the star-studded album features guest verses by Indian rap’s veteran emcee and former ‘Mafia Mundeer’ affiliate Ikka, Seedhe Maut’s Calm and Encore ABJ, Raga, Mumbai’s influential rapper and record producer Yashraj, Yungsta’s affiliate in Full Power Frappe Ash and AK.
The LP arrives after Yungsta released “Dilli” earlier this month. Produced and engineered by Sez, the track features a guest verse from Calm and Ash and sent the anticipation for Gorakhpur-bred emcee’s debut solo album hitting high.
Besides Calm and Ash’s verse on “Dilli”, Ikka drops a verse on “Totka”, Encore ABJ and Raga on “Hona Hi Tha”, Yashraj on “Savera” and AK on “Jeena Isi Ka Naam”. Further, Eyepatch and Dilliboy guest produce “Homecoming (Interlude)” and “Hona Hi Tha” alongside Sez on the LP.
Ahead of dropping the ‘Meen’ LP, Yungsta shared an affecting message for his listeners. Watch below.

Notably, this isn’t the first time that Yungsta and Sez On The Beat have linked up for a full-length project. In March last year, Yungsta and Sez teamed up on THE MVMNT‘s joint LP “Chaand Paar”.
The influential rap consortium’s debut LP featured Dehradun-based Team Evo’s affiliates Dakait and Aniket Raturi and Lit Happu. In fact, Yungsta, Dakait, Aniket Raturi, Lit Happu and Yungsta together formed The MVMNT and continue to leave a massive impact on Indian rap music from Delhi.
Yungsta has released the LP alongside hard-hitting visuals for “Hona Hi Tha”. Watch the visuals featuring the ‘Meen’ emcee, Encore ABJ and Raga here if you haven’t yet.
The album is released through India’s coveted record label Mass Appeal India.
