Earlier today, Afrorap & Dancehall superstar Burna Boy, born Damini Ebunoluwa Ogulu MFR, shut down Scotiabank Arena in Toronto, Canada.

The Grammy-winning Nigerian emcee and songwriter, who continues to raze through stadiums and was recently nominated at the forthcoming BRITs Awards for “International Artist of the Year”, performed two sold-out shows in Canada amidst his “I Told Them…” world tour.

During the historic performance, the marquee emcee performed a slew of his top-tier records including “Big 7”, “Talibans”, “Sittin’ On Top of The World”, “Dey Play”, “Gbona”, Lil Durk‘s “All My Life” Remix, “Killin’ Dem” & more.

Across his sold-out performance, Burna performed some of his most influential Afro-rap hits with his distinct blend of Afrobeats with pop, dancehall, hip-hop and R&B influences.

Besides performing his massive discography, Burna further honoured “his brother” and late Punjabi emcee Sidhu Moose Wala.

Reportedly, the iconic “Love Damini” singer rapped “East Side Flow” by Moosa and performed his debut collaborative effort “Mera Na” with the slain rapper.

This is the second such instance where Burna has remembered Moosa and performed the Steel Banglez-produced posthumous single at a major concert.

Last year, the “Just Like Me” rapper shut down Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park in London and remembered the “Moosetape” rapper. At the time, Burna further brought out major British acts and rap pioneers including J Hus, DavePopcaan & Stormzy.

Further, Badshah paid his historic tribute to Sidhu Moose Wala amidst his massive performance at Wembley Arena, in London. Punjabi rap superstar Karan Aujla remembered Moosa at The Kris Fade Show at the time.

Last year, pop superstar and another legendary emcee Post Malone“For All The Dogs” rapper Drake, U.K.’s iconic R&B singer and emcee Stefflon Don, Grammy-nominated rapper Raja KumariTion Wayne, MISTRaftaar and Mumbai’s legendary “Chorni” emcee Divine have remembered Moosa in the past too.

Sidhu Moose Wala & his family are yet to receive justice.
